Wonderful thoughts are communicated in this writting! I love the way Islam is presented as a simple and easy religion to follow. I like the message that is sent: Allah wants us to get a beautiful life full of accomplishments, hopes, goals and ambition, but at the same time, we should keep in mind our obligations towards Him and trust Him and His mercy; it' s all well balanced!

Unfortunately most masjids especially during friday prayers or during Ramadan prayers, someone stands up after a few rakaat and scolds and shouts at kids. Unfortunatly they themselves don't know that they shouldn't be shoting in the masjid. And out of anger they even say stuff they shouldn't be saying in the masjid. It is our duty to kindly and in a very nice way educate these people. Kids MUST be in the masjid to learn islam. And kids will be kids at there age. Don't expect the kids to be quite. I mean who wants a quite kids?

I am so grieved for the many who go to a masjid and expect to find open, welcoming arms..... And get people who are less than enthusiastic.... Guess what? You are going for ALLAH.... It's tragic that a room full of women could not help the young mother with her child, just as it was horrible that the women felt i was dressed inappropriately because i wore denim... People, we must hold firm to ALLAH and our deen... Let us pray for the members of our ummat who have lost their way. Pray that they will find their way and find success- dont laugh- it may be YOUR child one day...Let us pray for the members of our ummat who thinks themselves so perfect that they could look down on someone struggling.. I've had the same experience..i had craved for a spiritual food then and wnet for the jumu'ah with my 2 year old.. when he started running around and making noise, the glares i got and the rebukes that followed, it made me miserable and i wanted to write an article too. If Allah and our beloved Prophet (SAW) did not prevent women from going to the mosques, who are these women to do so? They claim they cannot concentrate when they hear crying..i was about to ask them, " Do you mean that all the while you were having babies, your prayer was lacking concentration??"...This issue needs to be addressed..Mothers with young babies are getting real frustrated. The imaam of the mosques should bring out this topic. JAzak Allahu khairan for bringing this up :)

There are plenty of ways to help the sister and her baby. But people now a days are ignorant and cruel. They walk with their heads so high that they cant see the people in need. People can be so blind and selfish. Thanks to them, i realize the difference between them and me. NEVER be proud, but walk in humility.
